His face lit up when he called her name. So much time had passed away. “How are you today? I missed you so.” When she saw him lying there, It just seemed like yesterday. They talked, spoke of good times and the bad. They wondered why it took such pain. Tears flowed from her eyes. Soon he would die. Opportunities she’d missed. Just too busy, so I guess. Can’t afford to miss this time. May not be another day. Their hands parted slowly as she left. Would she ever see him again. She was glad she took his call. Don’t miss the call. Don’t take so long. Don’t miss this call.

Everybody needs someone to believe in. Everybody needs someone who will care. In my life I've been blessed by my Father, For the one He gave to care for me is you. When my dreams for life falter, crash beside me, When the wagon stops and friends leave me dry, as I turn around, one is left beside me. Through good and through the gloom, you held my hand. We shared all the heartaches, empty bellies and pocketbooks, gloomy days that we thought would never end. We shared all the good times, too. All we had was a dollar bill. Didn't take much to bring me joy, only you and my Lord. All of those days I took for granted you'd be there, Flashed before my eyes as the doctor pulled that knife. I almost lost you, Ella, but instead you birthed our child. Child of grace, and gift of life. Everybody needs someone to believe in. Everybody needs someone who will care. In my life I've been blessed by my Father, For the one He gave to care for me is you.

The first time she ever saw God’s love, was through the eyes of a hatefilled man. (2 times) He spat in her face and called her names, killed with a gun in the name of love. She was so lost and so confused, she had nowhere left to turn (2 times) So she went to the clinic right down the street, looking for someone to hold her hand. That’s where she met this angry man, a man who claimed he came in love (2 times) He came to blow her doctor away, all in the name of Jesus’ love. She never could see a loving God through the eyes of a hatefilled man (2 times) If Jesus were here he wouldn’t approve of this Gospel of hate and fear. We’ve hated before in Jesus name, and we take God’s name in vain. (2 times) Christians are filled with hatefilled hearts, we’ve forgotten where we’re from. Gays and freaks and drunkards and geeks are the subject of hatefilled blues (2 times) We seem to forget that Jesus ate with sinners and drunkards and prostitutes. How we could turn our world upside down if only we loved in Jesus’ name (2 times) We are all sinners, aren’t you aware. No better than those we hate with a flaire. Lost in our sin, He died on a cross. Now it’s our turn to do the same. Our turn to die in Jesus’ name. For righteous and sinners all the same. Putting away those hatefilled blues.

Blessed 03:42
Blessed are you who are poor for theirs is the kingdom forever Blessed are you who will mourn for God will comfort you forever Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the kingdom of God Blessed are all you who hunger and thirst for the righteousness of God Blessed are you who have mercy for you will be blessed with God's mercy Blessed are you pure in heart for you will see God in heaven Blessed are those men who make peace not war on earth, the sons of God, they will be Blessed are the ones who are persecuted for righteousness, God's sake Theirs is the kingdom forever. Theirs is the kingdom forever. You will be insulted, persecuted false accused. Evil worked against you, all because your love for me. Rejoice and be glad forever. God will reward you in heaven.

Chorus In the name of the Lord... there is Love/Joy/Peace/Life. Broken pots of clay, shards of glass. Feeling that there’s no hope at all. Put your heart in His, come and find, the Potter will create a new life in your heart (Chorus) We are precious Lord, in your sight. (but)We are torn asunder by men. By the blood of Christ we are whole. I’m standing on the promise that I am your child. (Chorus)

Sweet Jesus 04:01
Sweet, Sweet Jesus, won't you let me come home now. The journey is long, I am so weary. Can't find my way. If I had wings I'd fly. Carry me home, ending all my sorrow. I miss Virginia, and my tears have over-flown. Chorus Sweet, Sweet Jesus, won't you let me come home now. Come into my heart and let me live. Life is often fleeting, and I've often missed my chances. Give me life anew and rest for my worn soul The journey is long, I fed your children. My hands are tired. I've nothing left to give Renew my heart. It is nearly empty. The hole is deep Lord, and my wounds will never heal (chorus) You gave me life and those who love me. So I'll go on since, they need me hear. Just one more glimpse, all I ask of you Lord, of loved ones long gone. Let me hold them near my heart. (chorus)
